Bottom line on parking: The Durango's 200.9-inch length navigates a standard covered deck with less fuss. The standard Grand Wagoneer is roughly 14 inches longer. Fourteen inches doesn't sound like much until you're backing into a painted-column space on Level 2 with four kids watching from the sidewalk.

The honest tradeoff here comes down to space versus footprint, and we'll say it plainly, because the Durango parks and tows better while its third row stays tight for adults, so the right pick depends on whether you value the smaller body or the extra room in back. Its 37.8 inches of third-row headroom is workable, but with a 200.9-inch body, the cargo shelf behind row 3 is only 17.2 cubic feet. Pack three kids back there with a Galleria haul and you're playing Tetris at the liftgate.
The 2026 Jeep Grand Wagoneer flips that equation. Its third row checks in at 36.6 inches of legroom (Jeep's published figure), and there's a real 27.9 cubic feet of cargo space sitting behind it. Teenagers and grandparents can ride back there without the cramp-and-complain routine that kills long summer outings. The catch is the width. At roughly 83.6 inches, you feel that body on tight turns in a crowded surface lot. The standard Grand Wagoneer's turning radius is listed at 19 feet, which stays manageable. The Grand Wagoneer L, at around 227 inches, is a different conversation. Plan for end spaces or the Costco lot at the Galleria complex, which has extra room.
